Bella Bride: Laurie Shelton & Scott Davenport

A gorgeous spring wedding was created for the lovely Laurie Shelton and dapper Scott Davenport with a day filled with berry, fuchsia, violet and chartreuse tones mixed with exquisite linens, dramatic lighting and of course lots of love from their wonderful famlies.  The wedding was coordinated by the ever so wonderful Emily Youngblood of Blessed Unions and the images are courtesy of the always "spot-on" team at Joseph Mark Photography.

Laurie's bridesmaids wore these super cute dresses with an asymmetric ruffled detail and carried charming bouquets of hydrangeas, peonies, Vanda orchids and cymbidium orchids.  So yum!

The entry to Perkins Chapel was adorned with fresh boxwood garlands accented with colorful bouquets and flowing ribbons while custom floral letters embellished the entry doors.

The colors of the ceremony floral were kept slightly subdued so we could really amp up the tones at the reception.

Such a beautiful couple! And her bouquet designed with hydrangeas, peonies, roses, sweet peas and crystal studded stephanotis wasn't half bad either!

Awesome guest book set up with such a lively palette of fuchsias, violets, berry and splashes of chartreuse.  The rest of the reception was equally as vibrant with centerpieces ranging from tall, medium and low and a stellar head table set up for 34 people!

Just as summer weddings are winding down, we were thrilled to see one of our spring weddings on the ever so awesome Style Me Pretty.  The wedding was filled with all things we love: peonies, mosses, cherry blossoms, the blending of cultural traditions, awesome photography and a love that was so clear in the images posted on their site.

Bella Bride: Lindsey Heim & Vincent Ip

 Another wonderful June wedding!  Lindsey Heim wed Vincent Ip on June 5, 2010 with a classic and traditional ceremony at Highland Park Presbyterian Church and a modern styled fete after at The W Hotel.   Images are courtesy of the super talented team at Shaun Menary Photography.

 Lindsey chose a very popular color palette of ivory, fresh greens and navy.  Such a clean and fresh look!

The bridesmaids wore navy toned gowns and carried these sweet bouquets of hydrangeas, roses and specks of lambs ear and verdant green hypericum berries.

I love that Lindsey gave the mothers charming peony nosegays in lieu of wristlets or pin on corsages.

On to the party!

Lindsey chose a completely non traditional look for her reception at The W Hotel.   In fact, not one of her tall designs were identical.  Each one was custom designed to be an artistic floral creation in fresh greens and clean white.  We used a combination of fluttery white phaelonopsis orchids, white and green hydrangeas, Casablanca lilies, peonies, bells of Ireland and snowball viburnum.

I love Lindsey's braided accent in her hair....and that her crowd could really party!

Earlier this spring, we were asked to participate in a photoshoot with The Brides of North Texas. We were allowed to select our own inspiration and chose to go with an outdoor setting that featured rustic woods, rich mosses , soft textures (think laces and scalloped edging) and an oh so fresh floral color palette of ivory, barely there blush and accents of viburnum green.
