Bella Birthday Girl: Ava's 7th Birthday Party

How time flies!  It's hard to believe its been a year since Ava had her last birthday bash and we were thrilled to create another precious event for her 7th birthday party.  Many thanks to Cesar and Tanya at Perez Photography for capturing these beautiful images.

We chose to work with a color palette of pretty pinks, girly lilac and hints of natural greens.  Her 35 little friends arrived to the party through playful balloon columns and sweet banners all greeting them to the girlish soiree.

The party was set up in a neat low lying square formation of tables draped in lilac linen and accented with mini white Chivaris.

Darling table centerpieces designed with white hydrangeas, lavender and hot pink roses and baby pink rosettes adorned each setting providing great color to the room.

The puppy theme was too CUTE starting with custom coloring books and the neatest doggy bone crayola sets.

Placed within the center of the tables was the most charming floral pup we nicknamed "Bella".  We then designed a lush border of vivid toned flora at the base to complete the room focal piece.

A puppy pet shop was also set up for the invited little ones to adopt and customize their plush new friends.  Too CUTE!

And of course what would a birthday party be without a fabulous cake!

Such a great and sweet fete!  We were thrilled to work with Ava and her family and cannot wait for her next bash!

Happy Planning!

Bridal Soiree at the Omni Mandalay

Brides of North Texas Fall/Winter 2011 Tablescape

The fabulous gals at Brides of North Texas recently released their fabulous Fall/Winter 2011 issue full of so many yum photos and ideas.  We always love working with their team and especially loved creating our tablescape for the current issue.  Inspired by all things vintage, soft and frilly, we took advantage of peony season and decked out an aged wooden table with a doily lace runner, antique milk glassware and charming aged patina vessels.  The shoot took place at one of our favorite clients' home which really completed the fabulous look!  Many thanks to Perez Photography, Wisteria, Imaj Design, Romano's Bakery, Stanley Korshak, Troy Richard Salon, Hakim Sons Films and our gorgeous model Hailey for helping it all come to life!

Bella Bride: Lisa Ide & Jason Henning

Lisa Ide and Jason Henning's beautiful spring wedding was recently featured on one of our favorite wedding sites, Style Me Pretty.  What a wedding it was indeed!  The elegant affair took place at Lisa's parents' ranch located in Aubrey, TX and was full of so many personal touches provided by our style savvy bride.  Having planned a bulk of the wedding via phone and email, we were thrilled with the outcome as seen with these gorgeous images from Stacy Reeves Photography

Lisa chose a classic palette of all ivory and white floral mixed with rustic textures for a an elegant spin on a ranch themed wedding.  She wed under a cluster of majestic trees laden crystal chandeliers and suspended candles with soft textured bouquets of ivory hydrangeas, garden roses and sweet stock all nestled within birch wrapped cones.   An added special treat was having Lisa's mom ordain the ceremony.

After the ceremony, guests retreated to a tented dinner where low lying arrangements of all white/ivory floral wrapped with textured birch shavings were showcased atop aged wooden rectangular tables.

In lieu of a guest book, guests signed varying mini stones that would be later placed in the couple's garden.  As an added treat, guests were given vintage broaches for the ladies and unique cuff links for the gentlemen.  Pashminas were also on hand for the cool April night breeze.

I love how Lisa let her bridesmaids pick their own black dresses and provided a custom "Lisa-tini" for close family and friends to relish the yummy flavor.

We loved everything about this wedding and were thrilled to have it featured on such a prominent website.  Congratulations Lisa and Jason and thanks for being such a fun and inspiring couple!

Bella Bride: Elizabeth Cline & Ramon Reza

Happy Summer Everyone!  Here at Bella Flora, we are fortunate enough to meet so many cool and unique brides that really embody their own style, taste and charm.  While we love working on all aspects of the wedding day (from bouquets to stellar receptions), sometimes we meet the ever so crafty DIY bride that can really pull it together with just a little help from us.  Case in point, Elizabeth Cline.  She wed Ramon Reza this spring with a ceremony held at Perkins Chapel and a pretty groovy reception held at her parents home.  Below is some gorgeous imagery captured by Shipra Panosian.

Getting ready.

First looks.  Love when couples do this.  The pictures say it all!

Absolutely LOVE Elizabeth's bouquet designed with antique and ivory hydrangeas, soft pink peonies, sweet peas and neat textured ranunculus.  Some of our favorite blooms!

Navy and soft blush done so well by the bridesmaids and groomsmen.  Love the DIY Just married sign.

The ceremony was equally eloquently simple using pew markers designed with ivory garden roses and blush peonies.

Guests headed to Elizabeth's parents house after the ceremony where the DIY really was in full swing.  Elizabeth and her family hosted the fete and used existing furniture for lounge seating, family owned candelabras & tea cups for centerpieces and lots of family made creations, including a pretty nifty photobooth.   The large band served as a cool backdrop behind the family pool.  Pretty cool set up!

Being the family home, there was no set time  to stop the party and this crowd took full advantage of it.  Talk about a "house party!".

Awesomeness!  Love the Dr. Pepper trail!  Congrats Elizabeth and Ramon!  You guys sure can throw a party!

Bella Bride: Jessica Toumani & Dale Fresch

Stunning Bella Bride Jessica Toumani wed Dapper Dale Fresch on June 4th, 2011 at The Historic Union Station on perfect summer day that would be one that both families would remember for a lifetime.  Bella Flora worked with the lovely Brenna Wurtz at Holly Tripp Events in bringing their stunning vision come to life. Everything about this wedding was planned perfectly and each detail had such personality and character that really embraced the newlywed couple.

Starting with these super fun save the dates by Sil Azevedo.

The blue tones from these awesome underwater shots were to appear throughout the rest of the wedding. Starting with these timeless Badgley Mischkas that complement the bride's lace accented gown wonderfully.

The" something blue tones" went really well with the rest of the wedding color palette of ivory, white and splashes of cymbidium green.  I love the striking shade of blue the bridesmaids wore; here seen getting ready for first looks.

The gents were given chartreuse green orchids to offset the blue tones.

I love first looks; Sil did an excellent job of capturing these special moments between bride and groom.

Jessica carried a gorgeous bouquet designed with peonies, muscari, cymbidiums, and regal calla lilies that highlighted the wedding tones beautifully.

After first looks, Jessica, Dale and the bridal party wisped away downtown Dallas in a vintage styled trolley that went so well with the underlying travel theme and provided some great imagery!

Upon entry to the reception, guests were greeted with a magical presentation of candlelight enclosed in varying glass cylinders. So dreamy!

Stunning entry piece, charming guest book travel case and the cutest "train" place cards that tied in the perfectly with the reception's location!

The ceremony was both a grouping of Christian and Persian customs that took place atop a custom stage built by Jessica's dad and a glorious dome that hovered over the elaborate sofreh.

Love this shot of the ring bearer creation and the hand embellished programs.

A very proud father indeed as he walks his daughter down the aisle.

Such a beautiful ceremony quickly followed by a stunning reception decked with all white/ivory creations of orchids, hydrangeas and calla lilies.

The two head tables were then accented with splashes of blue floral in keeping with the wedding tones.

Once night fell, the elaborate lighting treatment provided by Absolute really gave a dramatic accent to the room.

First dance as Mr. & Mrs. Fresch.

Gorgeous cake from Fancy Cakes by Lauren with a triple cascade of flowers!

Emerald City then kicked off the party that lasted well into the wee hours of the night.

And the finale with a sparkler send off and horse carriage ride.

Such a fun wedding.  Thanks again Jessica and Dale for allowing us to be part of this momentous day!  We loved working with you both and wish you the very best!  You're definitely off to a great start with so much love from your awesome families.
