Bella Bride: Marci Brice & Thomas Dodier

"Ask Marci Brice how she met her husband, and she’ll say it wasn’t romantic. But Tommy Dodier made up for a lackluster first impression when he asked Marci to marry him four years later: he carved a heart with their initials into a tree at his ranch near Laredo. Both sported cowboy boots when they walked down the aisle June 6, 2009, at Rough Creek Lodge"  D Weddings Spring.Summer 2010.

The term "its all in the details" always reminds me of this gorgeous wedding shot by the amazing Thisbe Grace.  Starting with all the charming paper products, fun custom cups, water bottles and napkins all accented with distinguished deer icons. They really helped set the whimsical mood for their wedding day.

This rustic chapel was the perfect setting for their ceremony.   We decked the exterior with magnolia garlands, true blue hydrangea bouquets, lace wrapped wreathes and wispy stands of blue raw silk ribbons.

Marci's bridesmaids wore the most stunning coral gowns which we paired with super vibrant bouquets of coral peonies, sunny yellow freesia, violet Vanda orchids, hot pink garden roses and splashes of fuchsia phaelonopsis blooms.  We then accented the stems with darling buttons in keeping with the whimsical styling.

How cute are these flower girls wearing such casual-chic and precious outfits! The rest of the ceremony remained true blue with fluffy hydrangeas designed atop aged mercury glass vessels.  Such a memorable setting to exchange their wedding vows!

Sealed with a kiss!  While the ceremony remained sweet and true blue , the reception was splashed with festive tones perfect for the out door tent setting.  We love that Marci brought in all sorts of personal vintage items to add a personal twist to the design.

The reception tent housed these handsome aged wooden tables that were adorned with a color infused  display of fuchsias, greens, yellows and violets.  Multi-colored glassware, custom runners and Kelly Green chivaris completed the "Anthropologie" inspired design along with so many accent pieces that we'll let the photos speak for themselves.

Once the sun set, a totally different design element was introduced starting with these aged glass lanterns and a super fun projection on the tent.

Such a sweet bridal cake and ranch appropriate grooms cake!

The night wrapped up with these mini pecan pies as sweet favors and a spectacular fireworks display!

Marci & Tommy seriously had the best night and we were thrilled to be a part of the celebration!
Best wishes to Mr. & Mrs. Dodier!
